Everyone on the list came and attended this hands on course. The goal was to have everyone familiar enough to puzzle out the excercises so that there is a hands on knowledge of what to look for before you go hiking, a knowledge of what to bring with you (like a map, ans compass) and a general topographic knowledge of where the cliffs are, where the streams are and a possible escape routes. The hands on for the real world situations are hard to simulate but the group did wonderfully, so I have to consider the course a success. Steve t
