Another great day in the mountains: much better than going out over the long weekend. The snow had melted in places and then froze so we soon put on our micro-spikes to stop from slipping. The low spots had ice over the water and mud so we tried to avoid those spots. After lunch the trail had much less snow with bare sections and muddy ones. Terry
