Write Up:
It was a beautiful sunny morning and not too many others were on the trail. However, when we turned to go up the Douglas Fir Trail, there were large barricades and closed signs. This was a recent development as a CWH group had done the trail the previous Saturday! So we traipsed down the bike path to the Crowchild Bridge and came back on the path on the north side of the river.
