Our last day was just as great as the earlier three and with another
day of clear blue sky. The loop hike took us to Heather Ridge and up
to Mista Vista, down to Leprechaun, Long Shadow and Stonebird Lakes.
At Karst Hole we separated into two groups, one heading back to the
Lodge and the other hiking a bit farther to Boulder Meadows. The
shorter route provided an elevation gain of approx. 500 m and 10 km,
while the longer one approx 800 m and 13 km.
Our time at Mistaya Lodge was too short. It is a lovely lodge with
superb chef and guides. The scenery is breath-taking and the hikes
varied. A must-do again.
