Write Up:
The group of 16 arrived just before 9 am, under slightly overcast skies but with a pleasant hiking temperature and virtually no wind. Due, in part, to a running race scheduled for the North bank of the Bow, today's route kept us on the South bank - completing the full distance for Douglas Fir Trail and finishing the 12 km hike before 11:30. Except for a boardwalk section along the slope that still needs to be re-built, conditions for this trail are good.
