Thank you to the thirteen hearty hikers who got up early to complete the hike and make it such a wonderful day. The weather was cool, with a rain shower on the way back. The trail was very muddy in places. A group of approximately 12 horses and riders passed us on their way to the Giant Steps. This chewed up the trail even more and made for some fancy footwork dodging both the mud and what the horses had left behind. Lake Annette, views of Paradise Valley, Sentinel Pass and the Giant Steps more than made the hike worthwhile.
