Write Up:
It was cool but comfortable as we left Voter's Flats and headed for Bebo Grove. In some ways it was like hiking outside the city. We used many of the less common trails beside the creek and saw almost no houses and heard no city sounds. We continued a short distance past Bebo Grove before returning to the picnic sight for a "coffee break." On our way up the hill to Evergreen Estates we were treated to the sight of a beautiful blue heron gliding into one of the ponds nearby. From the hill we had great views of Fish Creek but the mountains were just a faint shadow because of the approaching rain. The last kilometre was in light drizzle. Total time 2 3/4 hours.
