Six early risers left Calgary at 6:30am to beat the tourists to the Moraine Lake parking lot. After car shuttle positioning, we hit the trail at 9:25am. A beautiful day in the mountains unfolded, as we "sailed" up to Sentinel Pass to be met by a stunning rainbow and an awesome view down into Paradise Valley. Picking our way down the boulder field was tedious but the the Sentinels watched over us and we slowly made our way to the valley, Lake Annette and finally to the Paradise Valley trailhead. Great comardarie on the trail today. Thanks to everyone for coming on this hike and taking the time to stop and appreciate the views, the fungus, the rocks and the wildflowers.
