Write Up:
This was very odd day. Temp started out at 3 with a mix of sun and cloud. There was fresh snow 3/4 of the way down the Nakiska ski runs. In the morning the bridges had some ice and fresh snow on them. It snowed ice pellets on us off and on all day even when we were standing in the sunshine. There were lots of glacier lilies in the forest most of the way up from the Elk Pass junction. It was very pleasant at lunch in the sunshine and 10 degrees. Terry
