Cobalt Lake is a beautiful alpine lake aptly named for its deep blue colour. The first 4.8km parallel the south shore of Two Medicine Lake. At 5.3 you arrive at Rockwell Falls. From the Falls the trail begins to switchback up the hill into the basin where the lake sits. Another glorious summer day with a light breeze. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the lake. Total time 6 hours. Photos to follow. Dinner at Ramsey's Firebrand Pass Food & Ale. Mainly locals and excellent food. 3 miles west of East Glacier Park along Hwy. 2.
