Write Up:
We ended up having a brilliant hiking day that featured a variety of interesting weather....we started out with light showers, and a little bit of actual rain, but agreed to persevere in hopes that it would improve....and improve it did! We had a little more light rain, but were able to ascend to the ridge, where the conditions were quite dry, and the views quite stunning. There were some clouds over the peaks, which served as a lovely, fluffy frame. Several group members were not interested in the scramble to the summit, so we turned around shortly after the ridge. Given the rain we had earlier, I was thankful to have done the hike, and grateful for a safe descent. This day, we were indeed "The Magnificent Seven"
