Write Up:
This hike was a little longer than most expected for a city hike. We covered a lot of ground and there were lots of ups and downs. We started with the beautifully manicured Silver Springs Botanical Gardens, did a side trip through lower Scenic Acres and walked through the tunnels under Stoney Trail near Nosehill Drive. The hike, which included a 1/2 lunch/snack stop, lasted 4 hours.
