Write Up:
We were blessed with great weather complete with sunny skies, cool temperatures with some grey cloud cover . The trail was gentle with undulations that led us almost effortlessly to the pass. We passed by gurgling streams, green willowy meadows, historic Camp Parker, colourful mountainsides and many heavily laden backpackers. At the pass we looked towards the Brazeau River valley and watched hikers motor up the trail as we enjoyed our lunch behind the shelter of the rocks. Everyone garnered tips and tricks about many aspects of life while conversing along the trail. It was such a special moment to be at the top of this magnificent pass so thanks to the six of you hiker folks for sharing this experience with me.
