Wow what a magical day! With deep gratitude we experienced three lakes each with a different blue hue, rushing fresh water creeks, stately tall mountains, frozen scraped glaciers, haunting loons calls and bluebird skies. We had lively trail conversation among our fantastic group of eight hikers. We decided that the Copeland guide book had it all wrong despite the roots at our feet. I would give it at least a 'four boot' out of five designation. Thanks to you all for making this hike so terrific!
