11 people had a wonderful walk in the woods to-day. We were pleasantly honoured by 4 mule deer. 15 minutes later couple more mulies jumped up and raced by us. Not to leave the birds out , the chickadees gave us a few tunes as they foraged for food. The wind was brisk but once in the trees some of us took a layer of clothes off. And as we approached the end of the trip our fearless leader, Tom, showed us the infamous bump on the bicycle path that caused him to crash . The crash caused 5 stitches but as was pointed out to Tom there was a warning sign that indicated bumps in the pavement. Sometimes it pays to heed signs.
