Lovely warm day for a great group of 17 hikers to head into north Nose Hill Park. Two people were moved from the wait list the night before, one late registrant added and one cancellation the day of the hike. According to John's Smartphone we went 7.65 km and did 207 m elevation gain. Participants agreed that I found lots of elevation to challenge us, and we mostly stayed off the paved pathways. No wildlife sightings but saw lots of crocus and buffalo beans. No incidents to report. One person had to hurry back to the parking lot at a faster pace than the whole group, so she and three others who volunteered to go with her did that. I will lead this hike again this summer.
