Todays weather forecast for "rain later in the day" didn't turn out to be very accurate. We ran into rain at Chief Chiniki Travel Centre when we were driving to Kananaskis, and it stuck with us the whole day. We had a wonderful chance to test our rain gear, as well as our mettle!! Doesn't one of the bylaws state that if you hike continuously in the pouring rain, you get double the credit?? I appreciate there was no mutiny. It was great to see the display of enthusiasm in spite of the conditions. Congratulation to you all. We still had an enjoyable day. We even saw 2 grizzlies grazing in the ditch along Highway 40.
