After being rained and snowed out on the previous Tuesday, this was a superb day. The larch trees are very numerous on the trail, not too many people except for Healy Pass bit, and the colorful larch tress mixed in with the green evergreens made for great photos. i think we were there at the best time as a few of the larch were starting to turn brown. Thanks to Mike form helping me on the way down when I got leg cramps. Terry
