It was a good day except for the wind up by the Ink Pots. Elevation gain is 305 plus a loss of 80 which you must regain after lunch. Trail was mainly packed snow that was getting soft. Took a diversion to see the upper falls and the surrounding ice but not enough ice to climb the walls.
