Write Up:
Met up at the info centre in Field, which left one car on the wrong side of the tracks when a train came by. We left a few minutes late for Takakkaw Falls parking lot.The day was overcast and a little muggy. No problem finding a parking space. We hiked up the trail which was in pretty good condition. and had lunch at the Laughing Falls campground. On the way back we detoured to Duchesnay Lake, Point Lace Falls, Angels Staircase and Takakkaw Falls. We watched a helicopter flying in construction materials to an alpine hut. It was well worth the walk up to the base of Takakkaw Falls, although the place was jam packed, including a bus full of tourists. We figured it was about 11km in total, a nice day in the mountains.
