The best reasons to climb Prairie Mountain : 1) heart pumper 2) no route finding--the trail is just there and it goes UP! 3) beautiful views 4) short drive 5) easy access 6) does not disappoint 7) and more We had a glorious day with a blue sky and no one on the trail but us going up but we met several coming up while we were going down. We watched a helicoper land on Moose Mountain during lunch. We had no animals in sight and no traffic delays. Another super day in the mountains ! Thanks for coming out.
