After the recent hot weather we were all prepared for a very hot day. Much to our surprise and delight it was a very pleasant day . Average temperature was 23 degrees plus there was a slight breeze. The flowers were magnificent! Many different varieties in full bloom. We started the hike at 10 am and returned to our vehicles shortly after two.
