Write Up:
We were on the trail by 9:00 AM under a sunny sky. The trail was in very good shape but there was a small amount of snow on some of switch backs near the top. We crested the top of the hill (all 870 M of it) at 11:45 and found a lovely sunny spot to have lunch. We lounged in the sun and enjoyed the view for just about an hour. The trail was surprisingly busy with hikers, bikers and a horseback rider. We were back to cars in 2 hours on the way back down. I would like to thank my fellow Weekend Hikers for joining me on last minute adventure. Barry
