Write Up:
Pleasant day with a compatible group of 21 members. Lots of "old" friends. Trail conditions good. Wild flowers just starting to bloom. Meadows a bit boggy but didn't stop us. Arrived at the viewpoint for lunch at 12:30 just as the sun came out. Enjoyed the view, the greenery and flowers and the chance to visit. Back at the parking lot by 2:30 and everyone was happy with the day. Many had not been to this park previously. This is a great place for a half-day walk or even an early evening during the summer. We explored a couple of the old cabins on the east leg of the Old Sawmill Loop.
