Write Up:
Once again we missed out on Yamnuska. This time it was due to avoiding a reported tick infestation there. So we did Barrier Lake Lookout instead. Day was sunny with light wind. Some wind gusts. Trail was dry to the viewpoint and beyond to the fire lookout it was snowy /icy in patches. Met a hiking group out of Canmore called the Neanderthals ( about 30 of them going up in two batches).
