Once again a successful and satisfying hike in the Porcupine Hill. Weather was just right for hiking. Total elevation gain 550 m, 14.5 km. Great views but were disappointed to see the extensive logging done just over the top of the ridge and in particular the absolute mess in terms of uprooted trees, stumps and debris which made for difficult travel. Detoured and bushwhacked because of elk carcasses on the downhill trail which we did not care to approach. Jim E
