Write Up:
The trail is being reconstructed and there are some trail signs up to a point. After coming out of the new trail we followed a sketchy trail in the trees which runs alongside the washed out riverbed. The trail ends and there are three logs which cross the water to the other river bank. From there the trails is wide and clear to the ridge. Some of the group scrambled on the rock step up and some took the steep trail behind the rock step up. Flowers were in full bloom and very colourful. Views were magnificent. There was a little shower and one lightning flash with a rumble of thunder in the distance. We were lucky with the weather, sun and cloud with some cool breezes just when we needed them. Great group and a great day.
