Trail was mainly icy with a few bare strips so it was a good thing that everyone had mini-spikes or such. We were able to take to cutoff as it is developing into a good trail. Lunch break was short as the sun did not want to stay out and the wind started to pick up. Everyone enjoyed their first hike of the season. Terry
