Write Up:
It was a beautiful sunny day for the hike. As expected, the morning was cool and there was snow closer to the lake. We were not able to make it around the lake although the lake changed colours throughout lunch and was very still. The Sarrail falls are passable as some thoughtful hikers have made a fairly sturdy crossing of logs and rocks. The falls are quite full this year so the crossing is further down the slope. We had several opportunities to stop and enjoy some wonderful views throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who made this hike special. Maureen
