Write Up:
We were concerned about the hot weather that was predicted for today but it was fine. Everyone was well prepared with lots of water. It was hot at our lunch stop but there was lots of shade we could enjoy a leisurely 45 minute lunch. It was 30 degrees by the time we returned to our vehicles at 2:30 The drive both going east and west on Highway 1 was good. No slow downs. A good day was had by all.
