Hiking Rules
- No pets are allowed.
- No electronic devices with headphones are allowed. Only relevant electronic equipment (i.e. walkie-talkies, satellite phones, GPS) for safety purposes and/or hike details are allowed. Personal cellphones should be turned off during hikes.
- No alcohol or smoking is allowed on hikes. Social gatherings after a hike may include alcohol, at the hiker's discretion.
- It is the responsibility of each member to check with the website prior to a hike for any updates. Where specified in the Hike Schedule, members are required to preregister by phone with the hike coordinator.
- All members must sign the FSH Waiver of Liability, as part of the application, when they join the Club and upon each renewal. The Waiver ensures members understand the risks involved, voluntarily accept those risks and waive FSH of liability.
Guests
- Guests, invited and accompanied by a member, must sign the FSH Guest Waiver before leaving town for the hike. The completed and signed form should be given to the Hike Coordinator.
