Itinerary:
This is a short out and back hike to a beautiful lake below Popes Peak and Mt Niblock. The first 2km are on the Great Divide Trail (old highway). We then ascend 100m through forest to the lake. Expect 2hr on trail, longer if we decide to linger at the lake. Swimming in the lake is optional ;-)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take highway 1 west from Lake Louise. The Lake O'Hara turnoff is approx 3km from the BC border on your left hand side. Reports indicate that we can park straight across the railway tracks as opposed to driving around to the main O'Hara parking lot.
