Itinerary:
Since Wednesday looks to be a rain-free day this week, I am proposing a hike to Ribbon Falls. It’s not a long drive from the city and should be sunny for most of the day. Plus, the flowers should be spectacular! Ribbon Falls is a longish hike but the elevation gain is gradual as it meanders beside the creek which should be gushing after the rain. The trail is scenic all along its length passing by meadows, bogs, lush forest, several smaller falls, and the log foundations of an early century logging camp. Plan to spend about 6 hours on the trail.

Required Items to Bring:
Kananaskis Pass for the car, sturdy boots, sun/rain protection, lunch and snacks, adequate water.
