Itinerary:
This is an easy hike, out and back to Cobb Lake. The trail begins by hiking downward from the parking lot, meandering amongst the forest and wildflowers. Views of Mount Sinclair can be seen across the valley. The trail crosses Swede Creek then begins a slow contour up towards the lake. We will stop for drinks, photos, delayering and rest as required. We will stop at the lake for a snack/lunch and then return to the parking lot. Estimated total time is 2.5 hours but that is dependent on the number of stops made.

Bear Spray, Water, Snacks/Lunch, all the usual stuff you would pack for a hike.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Located on Hwy 93, the parking lot is located on drivers right, 14 km (or approx 15 minutes) past the Kootenay National Park west gate from Radium, BC. If you pass the Kootenay Valley viewpoint, you've gone too far. If coming from the north, the parking lot is approx 90 km or one hour from Castle Junction.
