Itinerary:
This route combines the west portion of the Fullerton Loop Trail with a portion of Bobcat and Sugar Momma. The hike follows paths through mixed treed forest, with moderate climb to a ridge and views west. The trails in this area are usually well packed by hikers in winter/early spring. Expect 3 ½ hours for the hike, with stops and lunch along the trail.

Required Items to Bring:
Microspikes, a pack with water and lunch; Kananaskis Park pass is required for your car.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Directions from North Calgary (approximately 31 minutes from city limits): Take the AB-1 west; take exit 161A for AB-22 toward Bragg Creek; at 7.1 km, take the 2nd exit on the roundabout to continue on AB-22 to Bragg Creek; at 11 km take a light left through the lights; continue on AB-22 for 3.4 km; take a right onto AB-66 and continue 9.6 km to the Fullerton Hiking Trail (which will be on your right). From South Calgary (approximately 47 minutes from city limits): Take the AB-22X west for 33 kms; where the hwy turns into AB-66 west, continue for 9.7 kms to the Fullerton Hiking Trail (which will be on your right).
