Itinerary:

Some Club members have expressed an interest in becoming more comfortable with being a hike coordinator. Responding to that, we are offering a Zoom workshop to deal with members questions on how best to conduct your hike for the safety and enjoyment of all. Our outline is based on the PMH Hike Coordinator Guidelines, available on our website. We will cover the complete process of planning a hike; how to organize your day from trailhead to hike destination, and return for a safe and enjoyable outing. We will include some steps you should take in advance of the hike day and as you start at the trailhead. We also will help you access resources (on the PMH website) that will help you determine which hike, how long and how difficult it is so to best suit your interests. (PMH Big Book of Hikes) Remember that being a hike coordinator should be enjoyable and will allow you to coordinate a group going to a destination of your choice, with good company - what could be better?? We ask that after registering and before the workshop date, you send Kathy any particular questions you would like addressed, at jimkathy@telusplanet.net
