Itinerary:

Let's say Farewell to 2023 with a wee hike around the Confederation Parks and maybe part of Queen's Park Cemetery before checking out the Lions Festival of Lights at the Confederation Golf Course. The pathways in the park are generally cleared but you might want a hiking pole and/or microspikes for wandering round the Christmas lights on the golf course. If this unseasonal weather continues there won't be any snow left but I'm hoping for some festive white stuff to fall before the end of the year. Expect to be out around 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

Recommended Items to Bring:

Headlamp, hiking pole, microspikes for the golf course part of the hike. Water.

There is free on street parking along Roselawn Crescent NW just off of 14th St NW. Google map 98 Roselawn Crescent NW and we will assemble on the park side of the street opposite that house (junction of Roselawn Cres and Roselake St)
