Itinerary:

DAY THREE GRASSLANDS

We will gather at Frenchman's Valley campground for good eats at the Grasslands StarBQ! The
campground has plenty of BBQ's and a fully enclosed dining area with plenty of room. Shhh...don't tell anyone...
there's even WIFI! Of course, we won't be using it.
After dinner we will enjoy some star gazing under the dome of the dark grasslands skies - one of the darkest night skies in North America.
We will have two telescopes on hand. One for visual astronomy and another rigged with a camera to show you the things
that you can see with the naked eye. Also bring your binoculars!

Required Items to Bring:
Warm clothing to be comfortable for outside stargazing.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
BBQ meat and vegetables, beer, wine, binoculars for astronomy night, if you have a red coloured headlight this is very help for keeping you eyesight dark adapted for astronomy.
