Itinerary:
I would ask that anyone who signs up for this hike has at least been double vaccinated against Covid. This hike is exploratory. Starting at the Sawmill trailhead we will follow the snowshoe trail to the junction with James Walker creek then head up the valley to a lake/tarn at 4.6km and approx 260m of elevation. Then the hard work begins as we climb a steep slope to ascend a headwall into alpine meadows. There are two cirques awaiting exploration at the top and the plan is to explore one of them. Expect to be on trail for 5 to 5 1/2 hours.
