Itinerary:

I would ask that anyone who signs up for this hike has at least been double vaccinated against Covid. Let's go and explore the High Noon hills west of Turner Valley. Before today I'm sure that most of the trails would have been dry - now, I'm not so sure. Being hills there will be lots of ups and downs along the way. The plan is to descend to the Sheep River for lunch which means that we have to climb back up afterwards. Plan to be out for the whole day

How to Get There:

The trailhead is actually a pullout off the road so I would like us all to meet at the big K country sign on highway 546 just past the Anchor D ranch (googlemaps recognises the ranch) for 10am and we will convey the short distance to the trailhead from there. Get yourself to Turner Valley. Head west on Sunset Blvd which becomes highway 546 for approx 15km to the K country sign.
