Itinerary:
This hike is part of the Lake Louise 4 day trip. Other club members may join if there is enough space in the van after trip participants have signed up. A 9 passenger van will pick us up at the Lake Louise Inn between 8:45 and 9:00 am. We will follow it in our vehicles to the Paradise Creek parking lot on Moraine Lake Road, the end of the hike, where we will leave the vehicles. The van will then take us to Moraine Lake, the beginning of the hike. The hike initially switchbacks up from the lake and then rises gradually through Larch Valley. There is a steep climb up to the pass and then a steep descent down the other side into Paradise Valley. The walk out from there past Lake Annette is a lovely gentle descent with some up and down.
