Itinerary:

The trail climbs steadily and at 1.4 km turns right, away from the trail to Sherbrooke lake. The climb to the 1944 fire lookout is a further 2.1 km on a steep switchback trail. You can see extensive views of Yoho Park and the Kicking Horse River valley. Enjoy and appreciate the views as we will hike at a leisurely/moderate pace. The estimated total hike time is 3.5 - 4 hours.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Drive west on Highway 1 from lake Louise village for 15 minutes. Turn right into the Sherbrooke Lake parking lot - just 0.4 km west of the Great Divide lodge. Arrive 9:15 AM ready to hike at 9:30 AM
