Itinerary:
A Clockwise loop route to a clear glacial lake at the base of Mt. Haig.(year round snow on it's shore) The route is well marked and starts by climbing up the ski slopes at the south end of Castle Mountain Ski Area. We do a Clockwise loop for best views.

Required Items to Bring:
Water, Lunch, hiking shoes or boots and Bear Spray (the Huckleberries are ripe)

How to Get There:
Event Directions: Meet at trailhead at 10:00 ready to hike at 10:15. From Pincher Creek drive west on h’way 507, turn left onto h’way 774 and follow the road all the way to the Castle Mtn resort. Park near the main building at the south end of the ski area. Drive time 35 mins
