Itinerary:
Starting along the Upper Kananaskis Lake circuit, the trail briefly climbs steeply as you make your way to a beautiful jade lake under Mt. Sarrail. Elevation is 305 m to lake. From the far end of the lake, climb 366 m to a grassy ridge overlooking Upper Kananaskis Lake. We will take a moderate pace for this hike and it should take 3-4 hours of trail time. If the weather is favorable we will take an extended lunch break on top to enjoy the spectacular views of the Kananaskis Lakes, Rawson Lake, Mount Sarrail, Mount Indefatigable, Mount Invincible and more. Uphill hiking will be in the morning before temperatures become hot. Travel time will be 3 hours round trip.

Required Items to Bring:
Bring bearspray - area is known for grizzlies. Clothing for any weather contingency. 2 litres of water, lunch and snacks
