Itinerary:
  • This is the clockwise loop.
  • This is a loop hike through the woods in Kananaskis, about 2:30 walking time, plus lunch. We will stay at the lower elevations, not approaching either pass.
  • If you want a great view in the same area, please consider the June 13 hike to Baldy Pass to Ridge.
  • We will follow the Lusk Pass trail for 4km from the the Lusk Creek parking area, stop for lunch somewhere along a cutoff to switch trails, and walk back down on the Baldy Pass trail.
  • If we hit the 8 person Covid maximum, please sign up for Waitlist if you are interested. I will try to find someone to lead a third version of the hike if there is sufficient interest.
  • The route in KML format (Google Earth) can be found at Lusk-Baldy Loop KML. If you need help converting to GPX or other format, contact me.
