Itinerary:

This event starts and ends at the Emerald Lake parking lot. Ity involves a loop around the lake along Wapta Mountain beneath the Burgess shale. Views are gorgeous. It is designed to be done in tandem with the Sentinel Pass/Paradise Valley hike on Sept. 9, assuming hikers stay overnight at the Lake Louise hostel or somewhere else in the area. I've set them two days apart as I'll need a day of rest in Canmore in between. Someone else may wish to lead an easier hike in the area on the 10th. If the hike is full, join the waiting list and we'll split into two groups.
