Itinerary:

we will head west on the paved path along the river, going up to the Silver Springs Viewpoint and then continue on from there. We will return a short way along the same route and then go down a steep-ish slope and steep stairs to see the actual springs after which Silver Springs is named. The path from there along the river may be muddy. We will likely hook back up to the higher main trail going back to the starting point - how long we stay on the lower path by the river depends on the conditions.
