Itinerary:

This is a loop that starts in a large open area that was once the site of an international Boy Scouts jamboree. Then we will follow the Kananaskis River before returning through a series of hills that include a large glacial erratic rock. There are no major hills but lots of ups and downs along the way. Expect approximately 4 hours on the trail.

Take Highway 1 west to the Bow Valley Provincial Park/ Highway 1X turnoff (Exit 114A). Turn south, the opposite direction from the main part of the Park. The road ends shortly at a T-intersection with the trailhead parking lot straight ahead across the raod.
