Itinerary:

We will be following the trail as set out by Bob Spiriko: https://bobspirko.ca/Hiking/Banff/ArnicaRidge/ArnicaRidge.html This is a popular fall hike for larch viewing. Most stop at the lake, we will push on to the ridge as long as conditions permit. The cumulative elevation gain is estimated at 866m. For those who have driven by the parking lot, you will recall that the start of the hike begins with a descent down to vista lake (loss of 135 metres). From there it's 560 up to Arnica Lake. We will hike as one group, at a moderate pace. We will meet in the parking lot.

Carpooling is a good idea given the size of the parking lot. I'll leave planning to those interested.
