Itinerary:

We will head west on the paved path along the river, going up to the Silver Springs viewpoint. On the way back, we will go down a steep-ish slope and steep stairs to see the actual springs after which Silver Springs is named. I expect the path from there along the river will be quite muddy, so we likely will hook back up to the higher main trail going back towards the starting point.

Parking lot at Home Road and 52nd Street NW. It is beside the Maranatha Reformed Church at 2111-52nd St NW. There are no toilet facilities at the trailhead.
